At last I'm posting in here again, well, being so crazy lately. I had a small lateral ligament tear in my left knee last weekend (f...k...)

But yesterday I had one of the most wonderful afternoons, I met with a friend that I haven't seen for so long, I feel so connected to her. We went to Santa Monica, even with the clutches, the walk was so very nice. We sat down to watch the sunsent; I hugged her to protect her from the wind and the cold but it wasn't enough to make her stay. So if you really want to understand, please watch "Before Sunset" (Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy).

Well, this is the first week of the Spring quarter so there's nothing special; the good news are the I got into the honor list of 2003 and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi www.phikappaphi.org (ex-president Jimmy Carter and best-seller writer John Grisham among others were member of the fraternity) offered me an invitation to join . I know that I should be humble, but this is the first time I can brag about something good @ school , and yes, I don't sleep anymore in class .

I couldn't slept tonite so I have been searching about Chinese basketball players. The one who catched my eyes with all the hype from the scouts is "Yi Jian Lian (profile), a 7'0" 240 lb. left-handed 17-year old (playing for the Guangdong Tigers), who has his own shoe - NIKE SHOX JUMP OFF AF. Here is the Chinese NIKE commercial (lackadaisical half court, perimeter shooting, old school v. sonic speed ankle-breaking, crossover, toss-it-up, ally-oop, free-style). Strenghts: Unlike other Chinese big men like Yao Ming or Wang Zhizhi, Yi is extremly athletic ... very good body type, long arms and big hands ... hasn't stopped growing yet, is projected to reach 7-2 ... great stamina ... nice ballhandler and passer, some say he's able to play all 5 positions ... he has great speed at running the floor, jumps really quick and can dunk 360s ... amazing rebounder, anticipates well ... great defender, excellent shot blocker ... left hander with decent range ... developes more and more lowpost skills, like a jump hook ... intelligent player, knows how to use his physics ... battled fellow Draft prospect Ha Seung-Jin to a standstill, although Ha has almost three years, three inches and 70 pounds on Yi ... at the age of 15 he literally dominates 18-19 years old players, as he did at the Junior World Championships in Greece ... he's one of the top 2005' Draft prospect.

Weaknesses: Still raw, because he didn't play organised basketball till the age of 13 ... has to learn the fundamentals of the game ... unpolished yet, especially on the offensive end ... needs to refine his postmoves ... too thin to hold a place in the paint, needs to develope muscles ... questions about his real age, some say he was born in 1985.

Sony Entertainment has announced the PSP portable entertainment platform is scheduled for release no later then March 31, 2005. This platform will target early adopters and teens, by utilizing some of the most powerful and fastest hardware for gaming we have ever seen, the PSP may very well take over the mobile gaming market, bad news for Nintendo.

The PSP system consists of a 4.5-inch 16:9-format TFT LCD screen with dual microprocessors (two 32-bit MIPS R4000 microprocessors to be exact) and will run almost ten times faster then current PS2 console systems. That's a heck-of-a-lot of power to be carrying around in your pocket. One of the MIPS CPUs will be dedicated to just graphics and media decoding, and an additional 166MHz 2MB VRAM graphics core for 3D rendering. The system has 2MB of on-board eDRAM submemory and another 8MB accessible memory, but will support Universal Media Discs (UMD) which are mini 60mm disc cartridges with a 1.8GB storage capacity and 11Mbps transfer rate.

Sony's plans are to keep the PSP on the market for 10 years, hopefully it will be that good or users will dis-N-gage it.

Hi people, I'm enjoying my break, but seems that everyday I have been getting to bed until 8am in the morning , I'll have to change that.

Since I watch a load of movies every week, I'll begin recommending them for you. The 2 movie recommendations this week is:

'Something's Gotta Give' I really enjoyed the performance of Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton, this is my choice for a romantic comedy.

'The Last Samurai' OMG, this is one movie is full of emotions, gorgeous sceneries, and the acting is very good. Probably I'm a little bias toward this movie because I always been attracted toward Japanese culture but who can tell me that samurais aren't cool. It gave me a deeper understanding of 'HONOR'. This is my choice for a drama/action.

Well for the intellectual part, I challenged myself to read a least 3 books a month. I'm now on 'The Fast Food Nation', very interesting book showing the dark side of this growing sector of the economy, and I haven't get to the part of the meat processing business; are you still eating that Big Mac?

Anyway, in this particular case the water was calm & the sun was almost directly overhead so that the diver was able to get into the water and click this picture. Clear water huh? They estimated the weight at 300,000,000 tons. And now we also know why they say one picture is worth 1000 words ... And now we also know why Titanic Sank!"

Gosh, at last I'm in break, last nite I came out from my Accounting 300's test until 11:30pm!!! I'm so tired, well, also I finally got my laptop on EBay (I did spend 2 weeks losing sleep watching the auctions , dun do that, just bid your price and let it be) - this is my new baby => Fujitsu P5010D for a very nice price, it looks so sweet and it's very small. 900MHz Intel Pentium M processor, 512MB DDR RAM, 60GB Hard Drive, DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo, WiFi 802.11g, 10.6" Wide (1280x768) TFT Display, SD/MMC/Memory Stick/Compact Flash card reader.

Tech Support: Yes, Ma'am.... how can I help you?
Customer: Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install Love. Can you guide me though the process?

Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?
Customer: Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready. What do I do first?
Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart, ma'am?
Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?
Tech Support: What programs are running, ma'am?
Customer: Let's see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge and Resentment running right now.

Tech Support: No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self-Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off, ma'am?

Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?
Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased.
Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?

Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the upgrades.
Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, "Error Program not run on external components "What should I do?
Tech Support: Don't worry, ma'am. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non- technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.
Customer: So, what should I do?
Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.
Customer: Okay, done.

Tech Support: Now, copy them to the "My Heart" directory. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.
Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart. Is this normal?

Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before we hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.

Hi guys, happy Valentine's Day, even it's almost over. I was so down this weekend because I couldn't get the internship with the L.A. Chamber of Commerce because of a conflict with my school time; it could be I was annoying the director of the office because I called every week to ask for an update of the status of internship (they took more than 3 weeks just to get over the interviews) but tonite I found this new one of the US - Mexico Chamber of Commerce, I feel much better again. I will push to get it.

Last nite I enjoyed of 5 straight episodes of "the Apprentice" in which 16 players compete in what Trump calls the world's most ferocious jungle -- the streets of New York City. Divided by gender into two teams, the eight men and eight women face off in a string of projects assigned by Trump to test their salesmanship and street smarts. Trump will dump 15 would-be proteges on national television during the course of an upcoming reality show in which a group of ambitious, young entrepreneurs and MBAs vie for a $250,000-a-year dream job as a top executive in Trump's business empire.
